Statement
My style is all about making viewers smile with little bit of nostalgic taste, along with soft, yet sometimes vivid colors.
Biography
Born in Japan, sturdied in Canada.
At age 16, began artistic career with very first order to draw for children's book and continued to participate in number of books as illustrator/artist. Has won and displayed at TOKYO-pref art museum in 2005, 2006. Although the passion for drawing never stopped growing, the career path as an artist was not very easy and continues working as office clerk while trying to establish artistic career. Left Tokyo in 2012, returned back to home town, Yamaguchi and continued with Artistic work for several commercial projects in this period.
As a author, has won the 3rd Novelista award in 2013, has been a regular commentator on TV show of TV Yamaguchi as well.
Has won the In 2023 January, launched own brand so call “Mainichi Akita-chan” (Everyday Akita-inu, in Japanese) has been energetically working on own art now.
